Kate has been practicing yoga since 1998, and started teaching in 2001 after completing the Integrative Yoga Therapy Teacher Training Program. Three years later she also became certified to teach prenatal yoga. She is registered as an E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) through the Yoga Alliance, which allows her to offer teacher training. In her early years of teaching she taught at various locations including the NDG YMCA and different yoga studios in Montreal and the West Island. In 2005 she was inspired to open Ambaa Yoga Studio, and was co-director of Ambaa until 2009 when she decided to dedicate her time towards her yoga teaching and practice.
Kate's journey led her to homeopathy about five years ago when she sought help for a minor health problem. This experience opened up a whole new world to her that was so fascinating that she embarked on a three year training program at the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy. Kate is deeply passionate about the practice of homeopathy and it's ability to bring awareness and clarity to an individual leading to true healing on all levels of their being, mental, emotional physical and spiritual.
Kate works with the MICH (Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy) method which helps the individual to really get in touch with their own unconscious movement, which might be blocked or stuck and express itself in disease or discomfort, either physical or mental/emotional. As the individual brings this unconscious movement into awareness, the healing begins. An accurately prescribed remedy that matches this movement will help to integrate it and support the individual in their path to healing.
Kate is available to teach group and private yoga classes and for private homeopathy consultations. Please see Services for more information.
